Port Royal Resort has recently been recognized as a "Silver Medal" Resort by Golf magazine. This resort's Planter's Row Course served as the site of the PGA Senior Tour's Hilton Head Seniors International in 1985. Oyster Reef Golf Club
Located in Hilton Head Plantation, the course is a traditional layout. It winds its way through a pine forest and many live oaks border the fairways. Sixty-six bunkers are well placed off the elevated tees and guard undulating 2 and 3 tiered greens. Hole #6, a par 3 with Port Royal Sound in the background, has been recognized by many as one of the most beautiful holes on Hilton Head. Recognized as one of the "Top 25 New Resort Courses" when it opened in 1983.
