Old Carolina Golf Club - Reviews

Formerly a horse farm, the course's approach begins with a drive through an oak-lined entryway toward the 15,000 square-foot farmhouse. As you step onto this masterpiece; prepare for continuously rolling fairways, strategically placed lagoons, winding bridges and Lowcountry wetlands. Old Carolina is a championship course that can challenge the scratch golfer and yet be enjoyed by high handicappers from one of the more forward tee boxes.

Built on high ground meadows and featuring gently rolling fairways flanked by steep hills and numerous hazards, Clyde Johnston's latest gem offers guests a fresh alternative to the typical lowcountry layout. The modern links style design uses the dramatic mounding to sharply define fairways and in the architect's words, "create a visual sense of movement."
