Island West is one of those special courses that you will want to play again and again- a scenic layout with beautiful rolling fairways, elevated tees, carefully preserved natural marsh areas and large live oaks, supplemented by strategically located fairway bunkers that test your decision-making prowess as well as your shotmaking ability.

Island West is receiving rave reviews from golfers of all skill levels. The Zoeller/Johnston team has put "fun" back into golf by designing a course that is challenging yet very playable, with safe routes for the cautious. It lacks the punishing design features that too many developers believe is necessary to have a "championship" course. Johnston and Zoeller have created a course that provides a good game of golf for all players.
